    Summary of Responsibilities:

    As an integral part of our team, you’ll manage a diverse portfolio of 5 to 15 clients, ensuring their books are closed accurately and efficiently each month. You’ll gain hands-on experience overseeing daily accounting transactions, streamlining month-end closing processes, and performing detailed reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts, including cash, credit cards, and intercompany transactions. You will review journal entries, prepare closing entries, and analyze financial statements, while learning from experienced professionals who are eager to support your growth. This is a place where you can build your skills, ask questions freely, and grow with confidence.

    Essential Functions:

    • Approve accounts payable, record cash receipts, and issue client invoices, including sales tax calculations and remittance.
    • Delegate tasks to bookkeepers, review their work, and maintain regular communication with clients and internal teams.
    • Identify process improvements, generate 1099s, W-2s, and support additional accounting tasks as needed.

    Education, Experience, and Skills Required:

    • Accounting degree and 1–3 years’ experience
    • Experience with full accounting cycle, ideally in outsourced/bookkeeping roles
    • Proficiency with technology such as QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Expensify, and Financial Sense is a plus!
    • Organized, tech-savvy, and able to manage multiple clients
    • Strong communicator who asks questions and adapts easily
    • Professional, confidential, and thick-skinned

    Compensation:

    • Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
    • Quarterly bonus: based on client satisfaction and profitability of the company
