    Job Summary

    We are seeking a knowledgeable Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will document the company’s financial transactions, prepare financial statements, and manage payroll. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting. You will be one of the direct contacts for various accounts, working with both new and existing clients to retain their business and increase revenue, creating and hitting quarterly and annual sales goals. The ideal candidate has extensive experience desired, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Accounts Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of all financial aspects of the company. These duties include (but are not limited to) payroll, AP, AR, bank, credit card and expense report management and reconciliations. The Accounts Manager will create and manage monthly budgets to analyze income and spending trends and recommend adjustments. Financial reporting monthly (P&L) and year-end financial reporting will also be included in the Accounts Manager duties.

    Work strategically with the GM to provide structure and processes for all functions

    Responsibilities

    Enter financial data and transaction

    Analyze budgets and other financial information

    Reconcile bank statements

    Prepare financial reports and statements

    Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered

    Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

    Create accounting policies to comply with all rules and regulations

    Process payroll

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in accounting

    Previous experience as an accountant

    Experienced with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel

    QuickBooks is a must

    Strong mathematical and analytical skills

    Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Strong problem-solving skills

    Excellent attention to detail

    Capable of analyzing data and strong critical thinking skills preferred

    Required education and experience.

    Associate or Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.

    At least four years experience required.

    Additional eligibility requirements

    Some availability after hours if necessary.

    Ability to speak English (Spanish is a plus)

    Other duties

    Attend and participate in weekly operations meetings with the team

    Offer support to other office staff in routine office tasks as needed

    Provide strong procedures for all financial functions supporting the operations team
