Woodrow is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Accounting and Administration Manager.

    Job Description:

    Responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, financial reporting, and administrative operations for our manufacturing facility. This role is accountable for ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and providing timely financial information to support business decisions. You will manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, inventory accounting, and month-end/year-end closing procedures. Additionally, you will oversee administrative functions including HR support, facilities management, and process improvement initiatives. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across all departments to support our continued growth and operational excellence.

    Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:

    Financial Accounting:

    General Ledger Management: Maintain accurate general ledger, including monthly journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.

    Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee AP/AR processes, including vendor payment processing, customer billing, collections, and aging report management.

    Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.

    Budget and Forecasting: Assist in annual budget preparation and monthly variance analysis reporting.

    Inventory Accounting: Manage inventory valuation, cycle count processes, and manufacturing cost accounting including labor and overhead allocation.

    Compliance and Controls:

    Tax Compliance: Coordinate with external tax professionals for income tax, sales tax, and property tax filings.

    Audit Support: Prepare documentation and support external auditors during annual audits.

    Internal Controls: Develop and maintain internal controls and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.

    Administrative Operations:

    Payroll Administration: Process bi-weekly payroll, manage benefits administration, and ensure compliance with labor regulations.

    HR Support: Assist with employee onboarding, maintain personnel files, and coordinate with external HR consultants.

    Facilities Management: Oversee office operations, vendor relationships, and facility maintenance coordination.

    Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting and administrative processes through technology and workflow optimization.

    Qualifications:

    Two-year Associate’s degree in Accounting. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

    CPA certification preferred but not required

    5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing environment

    Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills

    Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting principles

    Plus: Experience with ERP transitions / implementations

    Plus: Experience with multi-location operations

    Skills/Abilities to Meet Job Requirements:

    Proven experience in full-cycle accounting including month-end and year-end closing procedures

    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail

    Manufacturing accounting experience including inventory valuation, cost accounting, and variance analysis

    Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines

    Strong communication skills and ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders

    Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite

    Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently while supporting team objectives

    Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and compliance requirements
