Overview Wilson AC & Appliance is a values-driven company focused on delivering excellence while fostering a fun and collaborative environment. We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to support the financial operations of our growing business. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate accounts receivable records, supporting payroll coordination, and ensuring financial documentation, compliance processes, and financial controls are consistently maintained.

The Accounting Analyst plays a key role in ensuring customer payments are applied correctly, receivable balances remain accurate, and financial records are timely and audit-ready. This position works closely with Sales, Service, Client Care, and Operations leadership to ensure alignment across departments and resolution of financial issues.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable Management: Monitor AR balances and apply payments (check, ACH, credit card, financing). Review aging, initiate collection outreach, and coordinate resolution with internal teams. Enforce credit holds and COD requirements. Investigate discrepancies, manage statements, and maintain accurate account documentation.

Payment Processing & Reconciliation: Process daily payments, verify electronic transactions, and assist with invoice posting. Reconcile AR activity, maintain deposit records, and support monthly bank reconciliations.

Payroll Coordination & Recordkeeping: Prepare and verify payroll inputs (timesheets, PTO, holidays), compile exception reports, coordinate with payroll providers, and support payroll and commission verification. Maintain payroll records.

Compliance & Administrative Support: Maintain W-9s, tax records, and COIs for vendors, customers, and subcontractors, including tracking expirations. Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for accounting and compliance records. Monitor the accounting inbox, routing inquiries as needed.

Operational & Cross-Functional Support: Work across departments to resolve financial issues and ensure adherence to financial controls, documentation standards, and consistent procedures.

Qualifications

Experience in accounts receivable, accounting support, or financial administration

Proficiency with accounting software or ERP systems

Ability to reconcile discrepancies and investigate financial issues

Familiarity with payroll preparation or payroll support functions

Experience managing compliance documentation such as W-9s or COIs

Clear communication skills and ability to coordinate across departments
