A growing professional services firm is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Assistant to support its Accounting Team. This position plays a key role in billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial data entry.

Core Responsibilities

Prepare and distribute monthly client invoices with required supporting documentation

Process accounts payable and overhead invoices with strong attention to accuracy

Review and apply incoming payments to ensure proper cash posting

Assist with monitoring accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances

Perform consistent and accurate data entry into internal and external accounting systems

Review client contracts to assist with project setup

Maintain organized electronic contract and document records

Provide general administrative and accounting support as needed

Other duties as required

Qualifications

AA or bachelor's degree recommended

1+ year of administrative or accounting support experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Ability to manage repetitive tasks with consistency and focus

Ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment

Strong organizational and time management skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Experience with accounting software preferred
