JOB SUMMARY
The Accounting Assistant II is responsible for performing a variety of accounting functions for spa properties managed by Trilogy Spa Holdings. This role supports the Finance Department in both day-to-day financial operations and special projects, including the opening of new spas and the ongoing administration of existing locations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Adhere to TRILOGY’s “Flawless Service, Every Guest, Every Day” philosophy.
- Interact cooperatively and professionally, demonstrating respect, sensitivity, and attentiveness, following all company guidelines.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records for assigned spa properties.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in preparing monthly sales tax returns.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist with the setup and implementation of financial systems for new spa openings.
- Collaborate with property management teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in reviewing vendor invoices for accuracy and input.
- Support internal audits and compliance efforts.
- Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned by Finance leadership.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent, accounting-related courses, or any other combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and capabilities.
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting and/or bookkeeping.
- Must be proficient in Excel, Journal Entries, and understanding of double entry accounting.
- Must be polished, professional, and have a strong command of both written and verbal English.
- Must be organized, proactive, and possess a strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

COMPENSATION: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour + Benefits
