    Description

    We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our company. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to our Accounting Manager and ensuring our financial records are accurate and up to date. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and grow in the field of accounting.

    In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including data entry, preparing invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reports. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other team members and contribute to process improvements.

    Responsibilities

    Reconcile daily fuel sales (update special fuel pricing in Titan)

    Reconcile and verify the funds deposited in the bank daily

    Assist with coding in Quickbooks Online

    Prepare and process invoices for hangar leases and fuel purchases monthly

    Prepare monthly Fuel Flow fee reconciliation and process check

    Review completed maintenance work orders and invoice customers

    Track the collection of Accounts Receivable

    Assist Accounting Manager with monthly reconciliations, intercompany accounts, pilot and contractor accounts

    Assist with monthly/quarterly financial reports

    Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

    Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

    Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes

    Assist with year-end closing procedures and audits

    Assist with payroll and administrative support as needed

    Track owner’s personal and other business accounts

    Support the aircraft maintenance department (customer invoicing, payroll, accounts payable, etc)

    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

    2+ year of experience in an accounting role

    Strong attention to detail and accuracy

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software

    Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment

    Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
