Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate and current financial records, which include managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. • Ensure adherence to tax regulations and reporting standards. • Perform reconciliation of bank statements and credit card transactions. • Generate financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. • Assist in budgeting and forecasting procedures. • Collaborate closely with management to analyze financial data and offer insights for strategic decision-making. • Guarantee compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices. • Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits. • Support various finance and administrative tasks as necessary. Qualifications: • Previous experience working as a bookkeeper or in a similar capacity is required. • In-depth understanding of accounting principles and practices is essential. • Proficiency in accounting software such as Quickbooks Desktop and MS Office is a must. • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are necessary. • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines is crucial. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are important for this role. • While a CPA certification is preferred, it is not mandatory. • Any experience in the electrical industry would be advantageous.
