Job Title: Accounting Bookkeeper

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time
Reports to: Business Owner

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Bookkeeper to manage daily financial tasks and ensure accurate financial record-keeping. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent data entry skills, and the ability to work independently and efficiently..

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)

• Record day-to-day financial transactions (sales, receipts, purchases, payments)

• Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Generate financial reports such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets

• Prepare and submit tax filings, including sales tax and payroll taxes

• Support payroll processing and ensure timely payments

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies

• Work with accountants during audits or year-end closings
