Job Summary
We are seeking a talented professional to join our team. The ideal candidate is detailed oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting. In this diversified role, the following responsibilities are included:
Responsibilities
Enter financial data and transactions
Provide financial reporting and maintain accurate records
Coordination with Project Management to invoice current projects
Process all accounts receivable transactions
Verify the accuracy of transactions which have been entered
Prepare trial balance
Analyze budgets and other financial information
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Receipt of Client payments and allocation of receipts to appropriate projects
Process Field Payroll for Union members. Remittance of Union Stamps via IRemit
Safeguard the accuracy of the General Ledger, Journal Entries, and Financial Reports in our Accounting System
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is a plus
Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, and basic accounting systems
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
