What you’ll do:

This role is perfect for an accountant looking to transition into an analyst role. The transition timeline will be commensurate with the candidate’s ability, but we expect the following:

Month 1-6: 75% Accounting / 25% Analyst

Month 6-12: 50% Accounting / 50% Analyst

Month 12+: 100% Analyst

· Financial Reporting Packages

· Invoicing & Billing

· Accounts Receivable & Payable

· Account Reconciliations

· Data Analysis

· Data QA

· Modeling & Forecasting

Requirements

· Bachelor’s in Accounting.

· 1+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or data analysis

· Strong understanding of accounting principles

· Excellent attention to detail and strong work ethic

· Desire to work in a small-team environment

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (data tables, pivot tables, advanced formulas)

· Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Bill.com

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

· 2+ years of accounting experience

· Experience working in Financial Services

· Experience with SaaS or Tech Startups

Location: Charlotte, NC or New York, NY (Remote possible, with preference for local candidates)
