Legacy Care Home Health is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting daily accounting functions, including accounts receivable, payment posting, and financial recordkeeping.
The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts receivable and general accounting tasks, along with proficiency in QuickBooks. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with accounts receivable (AR) functions, including invoicing and payment collection
Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile accounts accurately using QuickBooks
Maintain and update financial records and documentation
Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on unpaid accounts
Assist with account reconciliations and reporting
Support billing processes and ensure accuracy of financial data
Communicate with clients and internal teams regarding account inquiries
Perform data entry and maintain organized filing systems
Assist with other general accounting and administrative tasks as needed
Ensure compliance with company policies and basic accounting principles
Qualifications
Required: Experience in accounts receivable or general accounting
Required: Proficiency in QuickBooks
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
