    Role Objectives:

    Responsible for performing the accounting functions related to the general ledger in a consistent and timely manner. Key responsibilities include general ledger maintenance, reconciliation of accounts, and oversight of corporate accounting work.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Responsible for assisting with monthly closing and meeting all month end close deadlines

    Prepare and record journal entries with appropriate support documentation and resolve account issues

    Reconcile balance sheet accounts as assigned

    Assist with yearly property tax renditions

    Prepare and maintain depreciation and amortization schedules

    Prepare income statement and balance sheet account analysis as required

    Review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations

    Assist in establishing and maintaining systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the company’s value.

    Respond to CFO as assigned with accurate and timely work to facilitate his financial needs.

    Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.

    Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.

    Education/Experience:

    Requires a Associates’ degree in Accounting or Finance or a Bachelor’s degree in another related field with a concentration in Accounting or Finance

    2+ years of relevant accounting and analysis experience required

    Physical Requirements:

    Worker will exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds of force frequently.

    Requires repetitive motion, hearing, talking, grasping, fingering, and sitting.

    Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.

    Worker is not subject to adverse environmental conditions as work is performed in an office.
