Job Description

** Purpose of Position:**

The Production/Live Operations Clerk assists Accountants and Managers with clerical duties within the facility. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Assist in clerical management of production accuracy within fresh and cook plant, contracts and bank assignments, compile and record flock data, ensuring accurate farm inventory, completing flock transfers within MTECH system, compile vaccine charge outs, prepare weekly settlements, maintain confidential files and records, cross train with other department positions. Employees may be required to perform other related duties as assigned, to ensure workload coverage.

** Essential Job Functions:**

• Reconcile fresh and cook plant production as well as reporting daily yields
• Reconcile Breeder flock data including egg production, egg inventory, feed usage, feed inventory, flock expenses, bird inventories/mortality, and grower pay
• Assist manager is the reconciliation process of balance sheet accounts
• Analyzing spreadsheets/data pertaining to breeder performance
• Back-up for other accounting clerks and gain knowledge of other areas of finance

** Additional Functions:**

• Special Projects as assigned

Qualifications

• High School graduate and some college accounting classes preferred
• Three or more years of Accounting Experience
• Strong PC skills – Windows, Excel, Lotus, SAP and have10 key by touch
• Accurate and detail oriented
• Able to work independently and work with all levels of management. Must have a high degree of organization and prioritization skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
