Accounting Clerk position for a Law Firm in Dadeland area.
Experience / Skills
At least 2 years of accounts payable.
Microsoft Office 2016 knowledge focusing on Excel and Outlook.
Must be able to work independently.
Must be extremely organized and self-starting.
Work on projects assigned.
Attend to all incoming check status calls (from adjusters, clients, restoration companies, etc.)
Reissue checks due to expiration, satisfied mortgages, change of mortgage, deceased person, etc.
Obtain all documents needed from clients to reissue payments.
Follow up with the insurance company on all reissue requests.
Draft closing documents for all checks that come in a daily basis and follow up with the execution of each one for deposit.
Make sure the umpire and appraiser invoices get paid.
Call to obtain mortgage endorsement procedures for all Universal and American Security checks.
Obtain executed documentation for mortgage endorsement.
Follow up with all monitored checks by mortgage and request required documentation to get disbursement.
Request mortgage inspection for all monitored checks after repairs have been completed.
Must speak English/Spanish.
