    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    Accounts Payable

    Receive, organize, and process incoming invoices with care and accuracy

    Verify proper coding and required approvals prior to processing

    Enter invoices into Microsoft Dynamics and reconcile vendor statements

    Prepare weekly aging reports and assist with check runs

    Organize and mail payments with appropriate documentation

    Communicate graciously with vendors regarding payments or questions

    Maintain vendor records, including W-9s and documentation needed for 1099 reporting

    Complete vendor credit applications with manager approval

    Respond to internal inquiries regarding accounts payable and general ledger postings

    Scan, file, and maintain accurate and orderly AP records

    Assist with monthly allocation of expenses across departments

    General Accounting

    Assist with journal entries and account reconciliations as assigned

    Prepare and post the Daily Income Report to the general ledger

    Conduct regular audits of cash drawers to ensure accuracy and accountability

    Payroll

    Enter new employee information into payroll software (APS)

    Compile employee advances, bookstore purchases, meal charges, and other deductions

    Maintain payroll records, time sheets, and punches with confidentiality and care

    Process bi-weekly payroll and verify payroll checks and reports

    Prepare bi-weekly reports for 403(b) contributions and employee deductions

    Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries

    Additional Responsibilities

    Receive and sort incoming mail

    Assist with petty cash transactions

    Support other accounting and administrative needs as they arise

    QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

    Accounting degree or equivalent experience and education.

    Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

    Excellent organizational and communication skills

    Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team

    Respect for confidentiality and ethical financial practices

    Experience with accounting or payroll software (Microsoft Dynamics and APS a plus)

    Alignment with the mission, values, and Christian environment of Mo-Ranch

    Abilities

    Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills

    Ability to organize and prioritize work and to meet deadlines

    Physical

    Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, and visual acuity. Must be able to squat, bend, kneel, climb and reach

    Work Schedule

    Must be available to work Monday - Friday standard business hours
