Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk to support a large, well-established organization in a fast-paced, accuracy-driven environment. This role is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting data entry, as well as verifying the accuracy and completeness of financial information.
The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with numbers, and takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records that support daily operations and reporting. Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 1–3 years of professional experience in an accounting or clerical role
- Experience with data entry and financial record maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and terminology
- Enter and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Perform high-volume, accurate data entry of financial information
- Verify invoices, receipts, and other documents for accuracy and completeness
- Reconcile discrepancies and follow up on missing or incorrect information
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Assist with basic account reconciliations and reporting
- Adhere to internal controls, accounting procedures, and deadlines
- Communicate with internal departments regarding billing or payment issues
Experience Preferences:
- Experience with accounts payable and/or accounts receivable
- Experience working in a high-volume or deadline-driven environment
- Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems
- Prior experience in a large or structured organization
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods
- Ability to focus on detailed work for sustained periods of time

Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools
Education Preferences:
