Position Summary

Ram Jack is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk to join our Accounting team. This position supports the Accounting department by assisting with day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the efficiency of daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Process account payable and accounts receivable transactions.

Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payments.

Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

Enter and maintain financial data within accounting software.

Prepare reports and assist with other accounting projects as needed.

Communicate with vendors and customers regarding invoices, payments, and account inquiries.

Support internal and external audits by organizing and providing requested documentation.

Maintain confidentiality while handling financial and sensitive company information.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.

One or two years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.

Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks, SAP, or similar)
