    About Senior Resource Association

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk to join our Finance Department. This hybrid role, based in Vero Beach, offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial integrity and operational success of our organization.

    Position Summary

    The Accounting Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial and program data entry across multiple platforms, including Financial Edge, ServTracker, and ECIRTS. This position supports critical accounting functions such as invoice processing, deposit recording, audit preparation, and monthly billing.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Enter vendor and client invoices into Financial Edge and ServTracker systems.
    • Input client and service data into ECIRTS in accordance with program requirements.
    • Reconcile financial data by comparing reports across various platforms.
    • Process daily deposits accurately and timely.
    • Assist in preparing documentation for annual audits and quality assurance reviews.
    • Support monthly billing and financial closeout procedures.
    • Maintain organized and confidential electronic filing systems.
    • Participate in ongoing training to maintain knowledge of relevant systems and procedures.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental goals.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in administrative or accounting support roles.
    • Experience with financial software such as Financial Edge, ServTracker, or ECIRTS preferred.
    • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
    • Fast and accurate typing skills with strong productivity focus.
    • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
    • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
    • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

    Work Environment & Physical Requirements

    • Primarily office-based with frequent use of computers and standard office equipment.
    • May occasionally require light lifting, bending, or carrying office supplies.
    • Some local travel between office locations may be necessary.
    • This position requires successful completion of a pre-employment screenings, including a drug screening and Level 2 background screening through the Florida Department of Elder Affairs (DOEA).
