The Accounting Clerk is responsible for data entry for all accounting job duties. He/She will be financial minded person responsible for Accounting, P & L, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Audit, Reporting Results, Quality Management, Developing Budgets, Company Insurance, and Healthcare.
PRE REQUISITES:
· Minimum of five (5) years, full-time experience in accounting and/or bookkeeping.
· Professional degree required.
· Experience in financial accounting, bookkeeping, audits, human resources, etc
· Proficient with QuickBooks accounting software.
· Excellent communication skills dealing with customers.
· Working knowledge of residential construction business.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Bank Deposits
Bank Reconciliation
Maintain P&L/Balance Sheets
Cash Flow
Budget Preparation and Tracking
Tax Return Preparation
Sales and Use Tax Reporting
Payroll – new hires, payroll processing, W-2’s, Federal/State unemployment reporting, garnishments, 1099 reporting
Healthcare – enrollment, deductions, payments, Cobra, renewals
401K – enrollment, deductions, payments, investments choices, annual filings with IRS
Insurance – work comp, general liability, building, vehicle/trailer, Subcontractor, audits
Lead Paint Certification – keep certification current, report on audits
Miscellaneous other duties associated with financial acumen and human resources.
