    As a Bookkeeper, you play a critical role in managing the financial health of an organization by maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will be responsible for recording daily financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and reconciling bank statements to ensure the accuracy of all accounts. You will work in an office environment and collaborate with other departments to ensure all financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your attention to detail and organizational skills help keep the company's finances on track and support strategic decision-making. Responsibilities: • Oversee compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations • Coordinate financial transactions each day and verify the accuracy of records • Explore ways to enhance processes and apply effective bookkeeping strategies • Create financial reports and circulate them among stakeholders to support decision-making • Maintain accurate records by systematically reconciling bank statements and accounts • Managing accounts payable and receivable • Performing bank and credit card reconciliations • Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures • Preparing financial reports as requested • Supporting internal audits and compliance processes • Maintaining organized financial files and documentation Qualifications: • Five years or more in bookkeeping activities • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar area • Strongly favor candidates with Bookkeeper or analogous certification • Proven detail-oriented and organized work ethic • Familiarity with accounting tools such as QuickBooks is beneficial Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 yearly Plus Bonuses
