Jericho, Long Island based accounting firm looking for experienced Bookkeeper/Administrative assistant.THE POSITION IS A PERMANENT PART-TIME YEAR-ROUND JOB WHICH IS FLEXIBLE. AGAIN, THIS IS PART-TIME AND DEPENDING ON THE CANDIDATES CIRCUMSTANCES - WE ARE FLEXIBLE WITH WORK SCHEDULE. The firm prepares tax returns year-round with both domestic and international clientele; hence, the firm is looking for candidates desiring long-term employment. PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN PUBLIC ACCOUNTING IS A PLUS BUT NOT NECESSARY.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Billing Clients
• Collections
• Office bookkeeping (receipts and disbursements)
• Answering phones ( only as a backup if needed while working)
• Emails, etc.
• Person should be capable of learning new software as necessary and able to use office equipment , etc.

REEQUIREMENTS:

• Must have excellent communication skills,
• Strong computer knowledge (Quick Books, Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
• Able to deal with the pressure of tax deadlines.
