Title: Accounting Manager - CPG

Territory: Natick, MA (3-4 days in office - must reside within 30 minutes of Natick)

Company: Family owned pet food manufacturer, scaling quickly in global distribution. 

Description:

The primary function of the Accounting Manager is to oversee the daily operations of the Accounting department. This role is critical to maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance with GAAP principles, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions. The role combines technical accounting expertise with strong leadership abilities to drive departmental excellence in concert with the overall Finance team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required, Master's Degree preferred
• Minimum five years of finance and accounting experience
• Proven supervisor/manager experience required
• Consumer Goods/Wholesale/distribution/retail is a plus, but not req.
• NetSuite system experience highly desirable
• Sales/use tax, property tax, and corporate tax knowledge
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Excel

Compensation: $112-152k base + Bonus & Great benefits!
