Our client is a large R&D organization seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team based in Huntsville, AL. This role will be responsible for consolidation of international financials for management and shareholders, and report to the Controller. 

This is a permanent, direct hire opportunity based onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and review the year-end consolidation and preparation of the annual consolidated financial statements
• Support the Controller and Tax Manager in documenting transfer pricing policies which are required in tax jurisdictions around the world
• Respond to various know-your-client requests from banks and other parties
• Work with the accounting team during future implementation phases
• Assist the Controller and work closely with the accounting team to consolidate financial statements for monthly reporting, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
• Collaborate with Controller to review and supervise accounting staff on the monthly accounting functions
• Review of monthly financial statement submissions from subsidiaries to ensure correct reporting compliance and obtain explanations for variances compared to budgeted expectations
