    Role Overview - In House Omaha - Full Time This is a high-accountability, senior-level trust accounting role for a driven professional who has already managed financial controls and custodial funds in a structured environment. As the Trust Accounting & Client Funds Manager at Inkelaar Law, you will serve as the final safeguard over client funds—owning trust processes, enforcing compliance without exception, and ensuring every transaction is fully documented and approved. This role is designed for someone who takes pride in control, accuracy, and authority and is comfortable saying “no” when policy requires it. You will work directly with attorneys and leadership, enforce firm policy at the highest level, and operate with clear authority in a growing law firm that treats ethics and compliance as non-negotiable. If you are driven, detail-obsessed, and have previously held responsibility as an accounting manager, controller, or trust accounting lead, this role allows you to bring discipline, structure, and professionalism to a system that truly matters. This is an ideal role for someone who: • Has already worked in a similar accounting or trust management role • Thrives in environments with strict rules and clear accountability • Wants responsibility, stability, and respect—not chaos or micromanagement • Takes personal pride in protecting client funds and firm integrity Responsibilities: • Log and deposit settlement checks into trust accounts • Maintain trust ledgers and reconciliations • Issue trust checks only after documented attorney approval • Hold and release checks per firm policy • Maintain lien reserves until finalized • Upload and document all trust activity in CASEpeer or other practice management system • Enforce trust rules without exception Qualifications: Required: • College degree required (Accounting or Business) • Experience handling financial or custodial funds • Strong attention to detail and documentation • High ethical standards Compensation: $60,000 yearly
