Accounting Manager - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 140k/year - Carlisle, PA

• AllSearch Recruiting has a client looking for an Accounting Manager in Carlisle, PA. This client is a values-driven organization committed to excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement. In this role you would own core accounting operations: GL, month-end close, financial reporting, compliance—and provide analysis that informs business decisions. The Accounting Manager will partner with Operations and cross-functional teams to improve accuracy, timeliness, and control quality.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly journal entries; complete balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis; deliver month-end reporting to stakeholders.
  
• Maintain the general ledger; ensure GAAP compliance and effective internal controls.
  
• Maintain ASC 842 accounting for capital and operating leases.
  
• Maintain the fixed asset register; calculate depreciation; track CAPEX vs. approvals; apply capitalization policies.
  
• Process credit-card expense transactions with proper approvals and GL coding; assist AR and AP as needed.
  
• Reconcile pass-through and markup transactions; match vendor purchases to customer billings; coordinate with Billing and Operations.
  
• Prepare schedules and collect support for the annual financial statement audit; implement and document accounting procedures.
  
• Participate in month-end P&L reviews with Operations; resolve issues promptly and communicate status updates.
  
• Lead or assist projects that increase accuracy, reduce cycle time, or strengthen controls.
  
• Protect sensitive financial information at all times.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
  
• Proficiency with GAAP and internal controls.
  
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with accounting ERPs (SAGE preferred).
  
• Demonstrated ability to perform account analysis and reconciliations; strong problem-solving and organization.
  

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 80k - 140k/year range plus 10% bonus and full benefits.
