    Position Overview

    We are seeking an Accounting Manager to manage both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. This role will oversee invoicing, payments, bookkeeping, and financial reporting, with the opportunity to help shape and improve accounting workflows using newly implemented systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys ownership, organization, and process improvement within a growing company.

    Key Responsibilities

    Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions

    Create and process customer invoices; track and apply incoming payments

    Process vendor, bill pay, and trade partner payments

    Maintain accurate bookkeeping and support month-end and year-end close

    Prepare and review financial reports, including P&L statements

    Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across financial records

    Collaborate with internal teams and provide accounting support as needed

    Assist in streamlining and improving accounting processes as the company grows

    Requirements

    Accounting degree required

    Strong experience with AP/AR and general accounting functions

    Proficiency with accounting software; Sage & Quickbooks experience strongly preferred

    High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

    Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently

    Experience with integration of accounting software

    Strong communication and follow-through

    Preferred Experience

    Experience supporting small to mid-sized businesses

    Construction, roofing, or trade-related industry experience

    Familiarity with process improvement or system transitions
