We’re partnering with an international import and distribution company in the Aventura/North Miami area that’s looking to add a hands-on Accounting Manager. This is a highly visible role where you’ll own the numbers, support operations, and play a key part in keeping the business running smoothly.

What You’ll Do:

• Own all day-to-day accounting operations (A/R, A/P, G/L, bank recs)
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process
• Prepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements
• Manage inventory accounting and cost of goods sold for distribution operations
• Ensure proper revenue recognition and expense accruals
• Handle sales tax filings and compliance
• Coordinate with external CPA firm for tax filings and audits
• Use QuickBooks as the core accounting system

What They’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 5+ years of accounting experience (distribution, importing, manufacturing, or consumer goods preferred)
• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
• Strong QuickBooks experience
• Advanced Excel skills
