About Us: The Exterior Company is a growing business seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Manager to lead our accounting functions and support overall business operations. What You’ll Do

As our Accounting Manager, you will:

Lead end-to-end accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and journal entries.

Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.

Monitor accounts payable, receivable, cash receipts/disbursements.

Support adherence to financial controls and compliance standards.

Supervise and back up the Accounting Coordinator, including payroll process oversight.

Provide data and insights to support short- and long-term operational strategy.

Compile 1099s and assist with year-end reporting.

Assist with operational audits and performance monitoring of initiatives.

Collaborate with operations to build and maintain pricing tools and databases.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field required.

5+ years of accounting experience with strong understanding of GAAP.

Advanced proficiency in Excel.

Excellent data management and analytical skills.

Preferred: Construction industry experience, Sage Intacct familiarity, supervisory experience.
