    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support financial reporting for a private equity-backed organization. In this role, you will work closely with the Controller and FP&A team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, maintain compliance, and drive operational efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.

    • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP.

    • Assist in leading the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process, including preparation of consolidated financial statements.

    • Support private equity reporting, including investor reporting and capital activity tracking.

    • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis in collaboration with FP&A.

    • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.

    • Coordinate and support external audits and tax filings.

    • Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions.

    • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

    • Identify and implement process improvements and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree a plus.

    • CPA preferred.

    • Public accounting experience preferred.

    • Experience with private equity-backed company reporting and consolidations preferred.

    • Hands-on experience managing the general ledger (GL), including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.

    • Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.

    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

    • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.

    $140,000 per year
