    Statewide Roofing is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting & Payroll Associate to support our day-to-day accounting and payroll operations. This is a hands-on, on-site role ideal for someone early in their accounting career who enjoys working with numbers, staying organized, and ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

    You'll work closely with our finance and operations teams to help ensure bills, payroll, and financial data are processed accurately and on time.

    Key Responsibilities

    Accounting Support

    • ****Process vendor bill payments accurately and on time
    • Support accounts receivable, including invoicing and payment tracking
    • Assist with job costing and tracking costs by job or project
    • Help maintain accurate general ledger records
    • Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and schedules
    • Maintain organized accounting documentation and supporting records

    Payroll Support

    • ****Enter payroll data accurately and on time
    • Track employee hours, payroll records, and adjustments
    • Maintain payroll documentation and reports
    • Coordinate with HR and finance on payroll-related items
    • Help ensure payroll data is complete, accurate, and properly recorded

    Qualifications

    • ****Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
    • 1–3 years of experience in accounting, payroll, or a related role
    • Strong Excel skills (formulas, filters, basic analysis)
    • Experience with NetSuite or another ERP/accounting system preferred
    • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
    • Comfortable with data entry and working with numbers
    • Ability to meet deadlines and follow established processes
    • Spanish preferred
    • Experience with accounting or payroll systems is a plus
