    CORE FOCUS:

    YOUR PURPOSE: Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, payroll, and related systems.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    FINANCIAL ACCURACY & RECORD INTEGRITY

    Compile and sort documents and files maintenance.

    Verify and post details of business transactions.

    Prepare and input data into the general ledger (GL) with journal entries.

    Perform data entry or typing of vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and overdue accounts.

    Produce financial statements and develop statements for use in the company.

    Perform various, periodic accounting activities such as account reconciliations.

    ACCURATE AND TIMELY PAYROLL

    Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees.

    Maintain and update employee payroll records in the system.

    Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws.

    Verify timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies with managers.

    Process garnishments, deductions, and other adjustments as needed.

    Prepare and submit payroll reports to accounting and management.

    Respond to employee questions and concerns related to payroll.

    Assist with year-end reporting, including W2’s and tax filings.

    SUPPORT FINANCIAL REPORTING & SYSTEM MAINTENANCE

    Generate recurring financial, payroll, and departmental reports.

    Audit data within accounting and payroll systems for accuracy and completeness.

    Support setup and maintenance of chart of accounts and vendors.

    Assist with upgrades, software integrations, and troubleshooting issues as pertains to inventory, operations, and POS systems as needed.

    Provide reporting and data analysis support to management as requested.

    Maintain user permissions and uphold system security protocols.

    Document accounting and payroll procedures to ensure consistency and continuity.

    YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

    Associate’s degree or coursework in accounting, finance, or business preferred.

    1–3 years of payroll, accounting, or bookkeeping experience required.

    Experience with accounting and ADP payroll software preferred.

    Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic office software.

    Familiarity with accounts payable/receivable and general accounting principles.

    Ability to work within a fast-paced, multi-departmental environment.

    Flexibility to support year-end, month-end, or special reporting deadlines as needed.
