Accounting Specialist – AR Focused

Cincinnati, OH | Full-Time | $20–$30/hr

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist with a strong Accounts Receivable (AR) focus to support our finance team in a fast-paced manufacturing and inventory-heavy environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily Accounts Receivable , including customer invoicing, payment application, account reconciliation, and collections.
• Monitor past-due balances, prepare aging reports, and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate customer and accounting records.
• Assist with Accounts Payable , including invoice processing, purchase order/receiver matching, vendor reconciliations, and payments.
• Support basic accounting, reporting, analysis, and month-end activities.
• Participate in the implementation and ongoing use of Epicor ERP.
• Support ad-hoc accounting projects and other finance-related activities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of AP/AR or related accounting experience preferred.
• Strong Accounts Receivable experience , ideally within a manufacturing, construction, retail, or inventory-heavy business.
• Experience working with a moderately complex ERP system required; Epicor, SAP, SAGE, or similar ERP experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong Excel/Microsoft Office skills and experience with accounting reports and analysis.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, on-site in Cincinnati, OH
Start time flexible between 7:00–8:30 AM

Pay: $20–$30/hour | Full-Time Temporary **
