** Part-Time Accounting Professional (In-House – Real Estate Development)**

** Location:** In-House – Real Estate Development
** Schedule:** 20 Hours per Week (Permanent Part-Time)
_ (We are not interested in outsourcing our books.)_

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and highly competent accounting professional to support our Accounting Manager in overseeing the financial management of multiple real estate development projects and affiliated entities.

This is a permanent, part-time, in-house position (approximately 20 hours per week).

The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate development accounting, partnership accounting, QuickBooks Desktop, and multi-entity financial management.

This role requires someone who can step in quickly, operate independently, follow direction precisely, and maintain a high level of accuracy and accountability.

Job Description

You will assist the Accounting Manager with:

• ** Monthly reconciliations for over a dozen development projects and affiliated entities**
• ** Monitoring and processing invoices across all active projects**
• ** Accurate and timely data entry**
• ** Tracking and managing key accounting deadlines**
• ** Monitoring partnership bank accounts to confirm receipt of capital contributions and following up on outstanding funds**
• ** Reviewing and analyzing monthly financial statements from the outsourced property management company to ensure proper expense classification and budget adherence**
• ** Comparing actual performance to approved budgets**
• ** Supporting various additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed**

Compensation:

** This position will have an hourly rate of $30-40 per hour.**
