  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support our Controller and property management accounting operations. This role operates in a high-accountability environment where work is closely reviewed and accuracy and deadlines matter. Ideal candidates value precision, structure, and clear expectations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Post rent, A/P, journal entries, and general ledger activity
    • Process invoices and prepare payments
    • Balance accounts and assist with month-end close
    • Generate monthly financial reports for properties
    • Review financials for accuracy and budget variances
    • Work closely with property managers on invoices and approvals
    • Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and customers
    • Maintain property management records and reports
    • Meet deadlines and support cross-training/backup needs

    Systems

    • Yardi (required)
    • Facility Manager, Commercial Café
    • Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams

    Qualifications

    • 3–5 years of accounting experience preferred
    • Property management accounting experience a plus
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Comfortable in a high-expectation, detail-driven environment
    • Professional communication and positive attitude
