    Accounting Staff (Job ID 0009)

    Responsibilities

    · Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping by accurately recording financial transactions.

    · Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations.

    · Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.

    · Assist with monthly and year-end closing procedures.

    · Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts under the supervision of managers or seniors.

    · Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting schedules.

    · Support payroll processing and related administrative tasks.

    · Prepare sales tax, property tax, and other compliance-related filings as assigned.

    · Maintain organized and accurate financial records.

    · Learn and utilize cloud-based accounting software and other technology tools to improve efficiency.

    · Build and maintain positive relationships with clients by providing timely and professional service.

    · Assist with other accounting, bookkeeping, and consulting projects as assigned.

    Qualifications

    · BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

    · 0–2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience.

    · Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.

    · Experience with QuickBooks Online or other accounting software is a plus.

    · Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

    · Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational skills.

    · Ability to follow instructions and learn new concepts quickly.

    · Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    · Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.

    · Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

    · Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    · CPA eligibility or progress toward obtaining a CPA is a plus.

    · Japanese language skills are required.
