    Accounting Staff – Receivables (Property Management)

We are looking for a self-motivated, detail-driven Accounting Staff member to join our Receivables team.     About the Role

    As part of our Accounting team, you will play a key role in managing receivables, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting monthly reporting cycles across a portfolio of managed properties.

    Key Responsibilities

    Process and record rent and income payments accurately and in a timely manner

    Deposit and reconcile payments within required timelines

    Communicate professionally with residents, property owners, and agencies regarding payments and account inquiries

    Prepare and balance monthly property accounts and financial reports

    Reconcile general ledger accounts with actual income received

    Generate rent increases, late notices, and other required communications

    Assist with month-end closing and financial statement preparation

    Collaborate with the payables team to maintain proper cash balances

    Support administrative and accounting projects as needed

    Attend team meetings and contribute to a collaborative work environment

    Cross-train on multiple properties and systems to support team coverage

    What We’re Looking For

    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    Self-starter with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks

    Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support others

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

    Basic bookkeeping and accounting knowledge (10-key experience preferred)

    Experience with property management or accounting software (AppFolio, IPM, or similar is a plus)

    Office-based role with extended periods of sitting or computer use
