    Job Summary:
    Acts as the Primary Accounting Supervisor in developing/administering/managing the Print Manufacturing Accounting Systems and related activities of the accounting staff for the company.

    Supervises: Directly or indirectly supervises accounting, billing, and credit staff.

    Essential Job Functions:
    • Primarily responsible for the management of the accounts payable function, including reviewing statements and invoices, and processing payments.
    • Monitor bank transactions
    and update the Accounting System accordingly.
    • Manage credit card transactions for each card holder and ensure charges are accurately posted to the Accounting System.
    • Responsible for monthly close duties, including inventory reconciliation and adjustments, ink tote reconciliation and accrual, and A/P close.
    • Ensure quality control over accounting transactions
    • Coordinate and assist with the preparation of annual and periodic external audits
    • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings, including 1099s
    • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
    • Perform process reviews and routinely implement improvements that emphasize efficiency of operations and quality of outputs

    _ Requirements_

    Desired Qualifications/Competencies:
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from a four-year college or university, or a combination of education and experience which demonstrates the necessary skills and abilities required for the position.
    • Five to seven of progressive experience, including accounting principles and procedures.
    • Experience with month-end/year end close process.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively including explanation of accounting principles to non-financial staff
