Role Description

The responsibilities of the team member in the Accounting and Tax Position include assistance with preparation of financial statements and corporate and individual income tax returns. Additional opportunities include strategic tax planning for high net worth clients, tax research, engaging in ongoing professional development, staying informed on the latest changes in federal, state and local tax legislation, gaining experience in financial statement compilation, review and analytical procedures, and maintaining and developing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate and Pass-Through Entity tax return preparation

Individual tax return preparation

Fixed Asset depreciation preparation

Assist with payroll, general ledger, and journal entries

Assist with Compilations and Reviews

Assist with tax planning

Ensure compliance with tax regulatory and GAAP standards

Client communication and documentation management

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, public accounting preferred

CPA or CPA candidate preferred

Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills

Experience in tax preparation

Knowledge of accounting procedures

Experience with the following preferred
