We're looking for an organized, dependable professional to keep our accounting and office operations running smoothly.

    Position Overview

    This role is the backbone of our office. You'll handle day-to-day accounting functions — accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and payroll support — while also managing the administrative tasks that keep the business organized. It's an ideal fit for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, takes pride in accuracy, and likes being the person everyone can count on.

    Key Responsibilities

    Accounting

    • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable accurately and on time
    • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
    • Assist with payroll processing and related recordkeeping
    • Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
    • Prepare reports and spreadsheets for ownership as needed
    • Communicate with vendors and resolve billing or invoice questions

    Administrative

    • Manage incoming calls, mail, and correspondence
    • Maintain office files, records, and supplies
    • Support ownership with scheduling, document preparation, and special projects
    • Assist with onboarding paperwork and personnel file maintenance
    • Handle errands and miscellaneous office tasks as needed

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, or office administration (or an associate's degree/certificate in accounting or a related field)
    • Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
    • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational habits
    • Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
    • Reliable, self-directed work style — you see what needs doing and do it

    Preferred (not required):

    • Experience in a small business or multi-entity environment
    • Familiarity with payroll processing
    • Notary public or willingness to become one
