WHAT IS A REMOTE CLIENT ADVISOR?

The Client Advisor is responsible for the happiness of the client.  They also will deliver CFO level advice and business advisory services to their group of clients.  Part relationship manager and part consultant, this role is best suited for someone who is a curious problem solver that loves working with entrepreneurs. 

WHAT YOU'LL BE UP TO EVERY DAY (I.E. JOB DUTIES)

• Overall day-to-day ownership and point of contact for a set of assigned client relationships 
• Perform coaching and delivering business advisory services
• Prepare forecasts and budgets to advise clients about opportunities in their business
• Responsible for an excellent client experience and resolving any client satisfaction issues
• Maintain an excellent working relationship with the Client Accounting Team (Client Controller, Accounting Associates, and Clerks) 
• Project management of ad-hoc projects for assigned clients
• Perform Ad Hoc reporting and financial analysis for complex clients

POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field preferred 
• CPA, CMA, MBA, or similar preferred 
• QBO Pro Advisor preferred  
• 3-5 years accounting experience with cloud accounting or public accounting firm
• Experience managing client relationships with coaching and consulting experience preferred
• Have a passion for mentoring and coaching
• Excellent communicator and high emotional IQ
• Cloud-based technology aptitude (QBO, Bill.com, Gusto, Karbon, Fathom, and others)
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident (no exceptions)
• Be available during core hours of 9am to 4pm Pacific-Time

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR YOUR HOME OFFICE 

• Quiet and dedicated workspace during core business hours (9am to 4pm Pacific-Time)
