**NOW HIRING: Accounts Payable Clerk in Houston, TX**
Are you organized, detail-driven, and ready to put your accounting skills to work? We’re hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk. If you enjoy keeping things in order, working with numbers, and collaborating with others in a fast-paced setting, we would love for you to apply with us!
Responsibilities:
Accurately process invoices and issue timely payments to vendors
Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing issues
Reconcile statements and research discrepancies
Maintain up-to-date financial records and assist with month-end processes
Support overall accounting functions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), QuickBooks, and/or Sage)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Basic understanding of accounting principles (prior AP experience is a plus)
A positive, professional attitude and the ability to work well on a team
Experience in AP or other accounting roles are encouraged
