Position Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Manager for our Skilled Nursing Facilities ( SNF ) in Five Towns, New York. This is a full-time, in-person position, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Manager: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA designation is an advantage.
• 5 – 7+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience, with proven supervisory responsibilities.
• Prior experience in multi-facility healthcare or skilled nursing facility (SNF) accounts payable is highly desirable.
• Proficient in AP automation and ERP platforms such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or Microsoft Great Plains.
• Adept at managing offshore teams and collaborating with Treasury and Accounting departments.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Manager:

• Oversee AP function for 12 SNFs in NC from the HQ office in NY.
• Manage and review work of 2 offshore AP clerks (workflow, accuracy, training).
• Coordinate weekly check runs, cash flow needs, and vendor payments with Director of Treasury.
• Work closely with Senior/Junior Accountants to reconcile vendor accounts and expense allocations.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and healthcare regulations. 
• Recommend process improvements to streamline AP across all facilities
