The Corporate Office is looking for an Accounts Payable/Payroll Assistant.
The Accounts Payable/Payroll Assistant will be responsible for processing invoices and reconciling accounts. They will also assist payroll with initial processing of payroll reports. They should have strong communication skills, a good computer aptitude, be very detail-oriented, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This is a non-exempt, full-time position. The average hours will be 30-40 per week, Monday through Friday. Although the schedule is semi-flexible, it is an in-office position and not acceptable for work-from-home.
Primary Responsibilities:
Process invoices and credit memos from vendors accurately and in a timely manner
Assist Payroll with initial processing of payroll reports, using well established processes
Reconcile vendor statements and payments
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies
Assist with month-end closing procedures
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of experience in an office setting required. 1 year accounting preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook.
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently
Ability to work with multiple people in accounting/payroll departments
