    Accounts Payable Processor at Baylor Surgicare at Oakmont:

    The Accounts Payable Processor is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements. This role ensures that payments are made in accordance with company policies and procedures while maintaining positive relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. Other duties assigned.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Review and verify invoices and payment requests for accuracy, appropriate documentation, and proper approvals.
    • Enter and process invoices into the accounting system.
    • Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents.
    • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
    • Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding invoices.
    • Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH transfers, and wire payments.
    • Assist in month-end closing by preparing accounts payable reports and reconciling accounts.
    • Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable files and records.
    • Support internal departments with accounts payable-related questions and training as needed.
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
    • 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
    • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
    • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
