    About the Role

    SumBridge is partnering with a reputable healthcare organization in Renton, WA to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in Oracle Procure-to-Pay (P2P) systems.

    This hybrid, temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a seasoned AP professional who thrives at the intersection of operations, systems, and process improvement. You will play a key role in enhancing AP workflows, supporting system initiatives, and acting as a strategic partner to leadership.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Act as the Accounts Payable SME across the full Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle
    • Lead the design, optimization, and execution of 3-way match and invoice-to-pay processes
    • Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain / Procurement (SCM) to implement process improvements
    • Support Oracle P2P system enhancements, implementations, and upgrades
    • Lead and participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
    • Serve as a turnkey resource and strategic support to Accounts Payable leadership
    • Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable, compliant AP processes
    • Ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance standards, and healthcare regulations
    • Assist with process documentation, training, and knowledge transfer

    Required Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, including SME-level expertise
    • Advanced experience with Oracle Procure-to-Pay (P2P) systems
    • Proven success designing and improving 3-way match and invoice processing workflows
    • Experience working closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, or Operations teams
    • Hands-on involvement in SIT and UAT testing cycles
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively across finance, IT, and operational teams

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in the healthcare industry or highly regulated environments
    • Background in ERP implementations or system transformations
    • Experience supporting AP leadership or acting as a lead/SME on projects
