Pay: Starting at $16.00+ per hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM–11:00 AM

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to support our accounting department. This position offers a flexible part-time schedule with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain accounts payable records and financial documentation.
• Verify purchase orders and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Prepare and issue payments to vendors.
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and account status.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting.
• Support other accounting and administrative functions as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous accounts payable, bookkeeping, accounting, or office experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with accounting software is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
