    A/R Specialist – Your Job Duties

    As the AR Specialist, your day-to-day responsibilities include:

    • Making high-volume outbound collection calls, averaging 25–30 calls per day (approximately 100 calls per week)
    • Managing customer communication related to past-due balances, payment status, and account questions
    • Documenting collection activity clearly and consistently within the accounting system
    • Processing and managing moderate-volume billing, averaging up to 50 invoices per month
    • Handling billing with a strong emphasis on rental service line invoicing
    • Reviewing billing details for accuracy and coordinating internally to resolve discrepancies
    • Applying and posting customer payments accurately and timely
    • Supporting the AR team with inbox management, follow-up, and account maintenance
    • Working in-office in Bakersfield alongside the accounting team to support daily collaboration

    A/R Specialist – You Have (Required Skills, Experience & Team Fit)

    You have:

    • Prior experience with accounts receivable (A/R) billing and invoice generating
    • Prior experience with high-volume customer collection calls
    • Experience managing multiple accounts and balances simultaneously
    • Comfort working in a fast-paced, production-driven A/R environment
    • Strong communication skills for consistent customer follow-up – you enjoy building relationships with customers and calling them to check in
    • Ability to stay focused and organized in a shared office setting

    You might have:

    • Prior experience with rental billing or service-based invoicing
    • Exposure to ERP or accounting systems such as NetSuite or similar platforms

    A/R Specialist – Benefits for You

    Your compensation will be $29–$31 per hour, with overtime eligibility.
