The Accounts Receivable Accountant provides vital financial support to our dealerships by managing cash, check, and credit card receivables. In this role, you will work across multiple platforms and systems to ensure all payments are processed, posted, and reconciled accurately and on time. You will take full ownership of your assigned accounts, collaborating closely with dealership management to ensure seamless daily reconciliations and accurate ledger balances.

• Accurately analyze, prepare, and input accounting data
• Pull and post credit card transactions into accounting system daily
• Receive and post checks daily, ensure that the transactions are categorized and posted correctly
• Reconcile cash receipts daily against operations transactions to ensure their accuracy, correct as needed
• Take messages Field routine and non-routine questions
• Maintain and update filing system
• Research disputes as they arise
• Retrieve information from files as needed.
• Working closely with other departments while keeping the upmost professionalism
• Keep a neat and well-organized workplace
• Maintain weekly schedules in order to update management

Skills:

• Knowledge of general administrative and bookkeeping principles
• Proficiency in MS Office, including ability to generate and interpret spreadsheet data
• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail
• Excellent data entry skills - experience with Reynolds system desired
• Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
• Effective organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently, as well as a team member
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people
• Proven customer negotiation skills

Previous automotive experience is preferred but not required for this position. Additionally, we require superior computer skills. Formal education and previous job experience are taken into consideration for all positions.
