    Job Description

    The AR Accounting Analyst is responsible for overseeing the order to cash process and ensuring revenue accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and financial reporting integrity. This role exercises independent judgment in revenue recognition, credit evaluation, and reconciliation analysis that directly impacts financial statements.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own AR related reconciliations and support monthly close
    • Review contracts and support ASC 606 policy requirements
    • Evaluate customer credit risk and approve payment terms within authority limits
    • Analyze AR trends and provide cash flow insights
    • Prepare complex journal entries related to bad debt reserves
    • Resolve escalated billing disputes using professional judgment
    • Partner cross functionally with Sales and Customer Success on contract alignment
    • Partner with FP&A to ensure external MRR reporting is accurate
    • Support audit preparation and internal control documentation
    • Lead automation and process improvement initiatives
    • Manage all sales tax related responsibilities, including reconciliation, audits, filings
    • Review and calculate royalties owed to partners
    • Support other accounting initiatives as needed.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
    • 3 to 5 years of progressive AR or accounting experience
    • Strong understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles
    • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment
    • Experience in SaaS or subscription revenue preferred
